Even a warm summer does not help to give this deep pool a decent temperature. But watch these colors on a late Autumn day.
Fishes disturb the surface, trying to catch insects that fly too low. The illuminated trees and the blue sky make this scenery a piece of art.
The river turns and runs very slowly here. A number of birch trees invite to stand under their branches and people hope for a shower of leaves taken by the breeze...
This is not a double exposure or magic Photoshop trick. It is a branch mirrored on the water surface and just a second ago a fish snapped a mosquito.
This picture of the yellow leaves of birch trees is taken from the pedestrian bridge. The colours are breathtaking. A pair of cyclists stopped, watched me taking photographs and finally said "it is beautiful, is it not?". All I can do is nod.
A beautiful scenery that I thought would look good without having to stand upside down watching.
Again, this mirrored scenery did not let me go. The dark blue of the sky, the bright yellow leaves, the fallen leaves on the surface of the water, the white birch trees. All the colors that are needed to paint this picture.
Just a few steps away the river bed is just a stretch of very shallow water. This upper part of the river is a favorite site of enthusiasts practicing their fly-fishing swing. Today the water is undisturbed. And so is the couple on the bench.
